Krile Communications Announces Promotions of Jill Buterbaugh and Julie Theado

LANCASTER- Krile Communications announced today that Jill Buterbaugh has accepted a promotion to serve as executive vice president. Former senior account manager, Julie Theado, has also accepted a promotion to serve in her new role as vice president of the public relations firm.

In her new role, Ms. Buterbaugh will continue managing several of Krile Communications’ existing clients, as well as assisting with strategic leadership and planning for the firm. Buterbaugh joined the team in 2013 and has previously served as vice president and senior account manager. Prior to joining Krile Communications, Ms. Buterbaugh worked as an independent communications consultant, an account executive for Cochran Group Inc., and as an account manager at TMP Worldwide in Chicago. She currently resides in Worthington with her husband and three daughters.

As vice president, Ms. Theado will provide leadership for strategy and business development, as well as managing existing clients. Her promotion follows her previous role as senior account manager during her four years with Krile Communications. Ms. Theado formerly worked as a marketing and communications specialist at Columbus Metropolitan Library, a senior account specialist at Fahlgren Mortine Public Relations and an account supervisor at Clary Communications (now FrazierHeiby). She currently resides in Ashville, OH, with her husband and two children. She is a past president of the Central Ohio Public Relations Society of America and has volunteered with several organizations including the Social Media Club of Columbus, LeaderSpark and Junior Achievement of Central Ohio.
